United Drug win Patient Education Project of the Year – Pharmaceutical Award at the Irish Healthcare Awards for our Webinar Series!
The webinar series, run by the Marketing Dept. in United Drug, mc’d by Denis O’Driscoll (Superintendent Pharmacist with LloydsPharmacy Ireland) and Martin Hynes (Clinical Governance Pharmacist with LloydsPharmacy Ireland) explores topical and interesting subjects for Pharmacists such as:
- Menopause & Perimenopause | Fast Facts for Pharmacists
- Urology | ISC catheter usage and best practices to help patients
- Overdose Prevention | The role of the community Pharmacist in overdose prevention
- Skin Cancer Awareness
The role of the series is to provide ongoing business support and valuable industry insight to guide our customers in maximising their businesses opportunities. It is designed to provide added value insights and training for our customers.
Dervila McGarry, Head of Marketing at PHX Ireland, expressed her opinion on the webinar, “Offering support to our valued Retail Pharmacy network through these extra insights, sharing updates and information on important topics like menopause, sepsis etc. is something we thoroughly enjoy doing. We have received incredibly positive feedback on this and we are very proud of it – especially that we can offer this service free of charge.”
We are delighted that the hard work of those involved in executing the webinars is recognised – not only through the support of those in attendance but also through being awarded by renowned establishments like the Irish Healthcare Awards.
