Pride 2023: Pride. Passion. Teamwork.

We’re big believers in making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and valued for being who they really are. We want our people to bring their whole selves to work. So, during Pride, we celebrated the diversity and inclusivity that thrives within our teams.

In conjunction with PRIDE month, we launched the “ourpeople - including you” initiative which introduced the D&I Champion, Ray Lynch. Ray has worked for United Drug for several years and is keen to champion the diversity and inclusion already present in the business while encouraging others to learn and celebrate alongside the LGBTQIA+ community.

Throughout the month, the Pride flag was flown throughout the business, both physically and digitally and prominently displayed at the front of the Magna Park building. Pride support was extended through the hosting of webinars on inclusivity in the workplace and how to be more LGBTQ+ aware in both personal and professional lives.

Pride reminds us that embracing authenticity, fostering inclusion and standing up for equality make our world a better, brighter place for all of us. Which is why we’re committed to making sure everyone, whatever their gender or sexual orientation, feels included, supported, and empowered, not just during Pride, but every day of the year.
